was it packaged?… if so, no…. not necessary… you might give it a go-round in the dryer with your favorite dryer softener sheet, and a damp towel, tho….gets the wrinkles out some….

Yes….
I am always altering King size to fit my Queen size.
1.Remove the blankets, etc from the bed leaving the exposed matterss.
2. Turn fitted sheet WRONG side out and put it on the mattress.
3.Have fitted mattress pulled in on one side /leaving only 1 side to repair.
4. Pull it tight and fit it with straight pins for a good smooth fit.
5.Making sure you only have to sew the corners of on side.
6.Some elastic in in the fitted corners sometime it is along the side .
7.This is when you will have to figure out if you need to cut anything off (if it’s on the side).
If so cut it off make a small seam and insert elastic.
8. Top sheet
Easy do, You can leave it and tuck underneath mattress or cut off desired amount and seam up the side.
